Peppermint tea is safe to drink during pregnancy when enjoyed in moderation.

Peppermint tea is a delicious and comforting beverage with numerous promising health benefits. Because it’s caffeine-free, it’s technically a water source, which is great for those who have trouble keeping up with their fluid intake. Peppermint has been shown to help ease digestion, so it can be a great option when you’re feeling bloated (which, during pregnancy, feels like all the time).

Research also suggests that peppermint tea has potential antioxidant and antiviral effects. Like other herbal teas, however, there’s limited research on the consumption of peppermint tea during pregnancy, so I would recommend you use moderation. But there’s certainly no need to deprive yourself of its perks.
